Seaspan Waste Water Treatment (2014)
New waste water treatment facility to service the Vancouver Shipyard’s $180M Modernization Project. A concrete containment project including geomembrane, pre-engineered structure and numerous equipment pads and anchor bolt placements.
Celgar Pulp Mill (1992)
Construction of the Fibre Line and Recocery Boiler Buildings. Our scope included placing of over 20,000 cubic yards of concrete and finish completion packages for both buildings.
OMC Mark II Building Upgrade (2000)
Mark II Maintenance Building and Underground Services built to service the Mark ll vehicles at the Sky train Maintenance Yard in Burnaby. Butler Pre-Engineered building complete with full interior metal liner at walls and ceiling.
Labatt Breweries Bud Aging Upgrade (1999)
Addition to the Labatt Brewery to facilitate production of Budweiser. Included seismic upgrades and code compliance requirements while production was maintained through out the plant.
Molson Brewery Tank Farm Expansion (2008)
Molson Coors Brewery Vancouver. SBW built the original Brewery (then Capilano Sixth Brewery) In 1952. In our long history with Molson Coors we have worked on every major expansion that has taken place. Most recently we have completed the Engine Room Upgrade 2013, Bottle line and Fermentation expansion 2008 , Grain Handling Facillity 2001, “E” Cellar Design Build Fermentation expansion 1999 and the Seismic Upgrade of “B” Cellar in 1999.
Canadian Auto parts Toyota (2006)
Our second expansion for the Toyota Manufactoring Plant. Construction included temporary insulated hoarding, relocating existing concrete tilt-up panels and casting & placing new tilt-up panels while keeping a very precise wheel manufactoring plant operating.
South Coast Millwork Dry Kiln (2008)
16,000 sq.ft. Tilt-up structure to accommodate eight kilns for drying lumber. Built on a fast track basis to meet the manufactures production time lines.
Yukon St. Rectifier & Bus Loop (2009)
New electrical rectifier station to fulfill power needs of bus travelling along Marine Drive & Cambie corridor. Also engaged as CM for the construction of major bus loop at Marine Drive Station; within 6 month time frame from design to operations.
Labatt Creston Brew house (2002)
Labatt Creston Brewhouse Expansion preconstuction services were provided by SBW with involvement in the design and budgeting of the project. The work was completed in three phases, Preconstruction, Building Structure and Completion package. All contracts converted to one lump sum document. The heavy concrete and steel structure was provided to support the various Kettles and Tanks involved in the brewing process.
Vancouver Ground Water Treatment Plant (1995)
Architecturally designed water treatment plant to blend in with the existing area. It is designed to treat existing groundwater under the old expo lands.
Chevron Refinery Projects 2003 to 2007
Chevron Refinery various civil projects. Low Sulfer Gas Plant Concrete package c/w one single 700 M/3 concrete pour (2003), Water Cooling Facility (2006) Lower Tank Row (2005), Tank 177 Foundation (2007).
YVR-Pier ‘C’ Upgrade (2004)
Transforming 4 departure gates into Canadian Airline’s Maple Leaf Lounges & Food services area, with vaulted structure featuring Basalt water fall and barrier like skylights. Passenger flow through Pier ”C’ was maintained throughout construction process.
Surrey Biofuel Processing Facility
SBW is excited to be working on the new Biofuel Processing Facility for the City of Surrey. The ground breaking took place on February 27, 2015. When completed, this organic biofuel facility will convert the city’s waste into renewable natural gas.
Tilbury LNG Expansion
Contracted through Bantel, SBW is providing General Services Contracting to the $400-Million expansion project, which adds 1.1 million gigajoules of liquefied natural gas storage and 34,000 gigajoules per day of liquefaction capacity.
